I’m an Emmy Award–winning editor and video designer with over two decades of experience in broadcast, digital media, and visual storytelling. My work sits at the intersection of editing, design, and cinematography—shaping stories that are both visually striking and emotionally engaging.
Over the years, I’ve worked with major networks including MSNBC, NBC News, CBS News, Court TV, and Rainbow Media, creating promos, marketing campaigns, and content for major news and election coverage. I’ve always been drawn to projects that require both precision and creativity—where storytelling, rhythm, and design come together.
I enjoy solving visual problems—whether it’s shaping a narrative in the edit, building a graphic language, or capturing moments on location. I’m comfortable leading projects, collaborating with teams, and working hands-on across the entire production process.
Technically, I work with Avid Media Composer, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and modern AI tools.
I hold an M.S. in Communication and Broadcasting and have received a News & Documentary Emmy Award, along with Telly Awards and New York Festivals recognition.
I’m fluent in English, Russian, Ukrainian, and French, and I bring that mix of perspectives and cultural understanding into the way I approach storytelling.
In 2026, I launched ASiWALKNEWYORK, where I research, film, and edit short cinematic stories about New York’s architecture, culture, and hidden history. It’s a more personal extension of my work—focused on observation, atmosphere, and discovering stories in everyday spaces.
I’ve chosen to feature a focused selection of work here—some of my strongest pieces from my time at MSNBC, alongside recent ASiWALKNEWYORK projects that represent where my work is today, including social media storytelling, camera work, and AI integration.
This promo generated industry buzz by framing a largely staged speech event through a ‘hockey game’ visual style. I created the concept and used it to reveal the internal narrative behind MSNBC’s coverage.
Observing director Spike Lee during the filming of a new MSNBC rebranding campaign, I shaped a visual narrative using available behind-the-scenes footage.
A promo created without access to actual show footage—built from only a handful of scattered clips. A classic ‘making something from nothing’ promo.
Election coverage is long and demanding—but every now and then, there’s a chance to have some fun.
A small, playful promo inspired by my Court TV roots. Produced for MSNBC, the spot was built from my script and original concept. And yes—this type of programming did air on weekends, and yes, people in the ‘big house’ were watching.
A promo produced for MSNBC’s 20th anniversary. I defined the visual style, curated the footage, and shaped it into a cohesive narrative. By the 30th anniversary, MSNBC had evolved into something quite different and had a new name, MS NOW.
This concept was shot in my home studio and later edited for air after winning our department’s creative contest. It functions as a PSA of sorts, promoting a documentary at the time. (Yes—the hand modeling is mine.)
On the set of MSNBC’s Lean Forward campaign, Al Sharpton—a fan of Walt Whitman—was recorded reading a poem. I filmed the city b-roll and shaped the material into a piece that could resonate across the aisle, free of politics. Music selection and narrative concept are mine.
ASiWALKNEWYORK is my ongoing visual exploration of New York City—its architecture, culture, and hidden layers of history. Through short cinematic pieces, I document the city as both a living environment and a stage, where everyday spaces reveal unexpected stories.
The project combines research, filming, and editing into a single process of observation—finding narrative in overlooked details, urban textures, and fleeting moments. It’s also a space where I experiment with new tools, including social media formats, camera techniques, and AI-driven workflows.
All reels are available on YouTube; below is a brief visual overview of the project.

Filmed and edited by a human. AI is used sparingly—for historical recreations, small visual accents, and improved story flow. Voice-over by ElevenLabs.
Two days of NYC pre- and post-storm observations, distilled into under 60 seconds. Filmed and edited by human with some computer animation accents. Snow was real, cold was real too:)
Filmed and edited by a human. All facts and scripts are based on my own research and sense of humor. AI is used only for historical recreations and small visual accents, and in very moderate doses. VO by ElevenLabs.
Filmed during a casual walk along 7th Avenue and later edited by human. All facts and scripts are based on my own research. AI is used for historical recreations and small accents.
It says exactly what it is. It’s melting, and it looks poetic—if you know how to look.
Brighton Beach like you’ve never seen it before. Observations and a bit of history.
As I Walk New York, I notice unusual things and want to learn more about them. I film, research, and edit everything together, adding a bit of animated eye candy on top. Advertising happens organically.
As I Walk New York, I see things that are simply not possible in other cities. I film them, research their stories, and edit it all together. Advertising happens organically.
Organic Intelligence with a little help from AI.
